Supergirl actor Adam Driver told BuzzFeed News he is not afraid to put himself on the edge of his own physical limitations.
In a new interview with BuzzFeed News, Driver said he is “not afraid” of the challenges and challenges he faces as a human being.
“I think I’m a human.
I don’t really have a choice.
I think it’s part of being human,” he said.
“But I’m not scared of heights.”
When he first joined the show, he was only a teenager who “really had a lot of friends,” but now he has a full-time family, which he said he doesn’t want to compromise on.
“The best thing about it is I have my family and I love them, but I want to make sure I’m doing the best for them,” Driver said.
“If they’re not comfortable, I’m fine with that.
But I don [not] want to sacrifice myself.
I know what I can do, and that’s it.”
Supergirl star Adam Driver says he is ‘not afraid’ of heights in new interview.
He also said he’s a little more cautious about heights than most people, despite being one of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood.
“Most of us are kind of like, ‘I’m going to make a lot more money,’ ” Driver said of the industry’s expectations for actors.
“That’s not a bad thing.”
Driver also addressed the backlash against his portrayal of Supergirl’s Kara Danvers, which included criticism of his hair.
“People were like, oh, Kara Danvises hair is too dark and she doesn’t look like a superhero,” Driver explained.
“I don’t want that to be a negative thing.
Kara is a very different person than Kara Danova.”
The actress said his hair has been his “preferred look” for years, but he’s changed it over time to better fit his role.
“It’s been one of my best-kept secrets for 20 years,” Driver continued.
“It’s something I love.
But the way I’m dressed, it’s not my preferred look.
It’s a really important part of who I am.”
